Today, at 12 noon, the presentation of a working group composed of entrepreneurs, innovative managers, professors, university researchers and representatives of various organizations was held in the auditorium of the Faculty of Economics and Business.
The team, led by José Luis Munuera, Professor of Marketing and Market Research at the University of Murcia, is tackling a project that will analyze possible strategies for the strengthening of relations between the University, the business world and the Administration. .
The rector of the UMU, José Luján, was present at the presentation, who stated that "it is a project to recognize ourselves, to make a diagnosis and improve".
"The movement is demonstrated walking said, and it is true that many things are done in the University, but it can be improved, the goal is to offer society a model that shows where we should go in this field of innovation".
Rector Luján has finally assured that "we will continue working in this field, not because of the UMU, but throughout the Region of Murcia".
For his part, Professor José Luis Munuera has exposed in his lecture 'Does Murcia have a future in the era of knowledge?'
a detailed report of the situation in Spain and Murcia in the field of innovation, in which statistics are historically unpropitious for the country and our region.
"What we have said is that the university, companies and the regional government embark on joint objectives, so that the government manages to raise the income of Murcia, companies get more value and the university also get their goal of generating knowledge, but all together, "and adopting innovative ways that work already in other places.
Munuera has presented the components that make up the working group and has invited all interested parties to be part of it, always with the premise that the intention is to work, and to do it for free and for the interest of the Region.
"We want to try to be able to mobilize, to make a document of reflection and to convince all the agents that this idea is possible, we are working so that the situation changes," he finally said.
The presentation was also attended by two prominent entrepreneurs for their innovation initiatives, Javier Pita de Neosistec, and Juan de Dios Hernández, from Prosur, who explained their respective business experiences.
