The University of Murcia has produced a documentary entitled 'The border that unites.
The origin of the lands of the Manuel 'in collaboration with the Congress of History of the 775th Anniversary of the border of the kingdoms of Valencia and Murcia.
This audiovisual work recreates different passages of the thirteenth century on the basis of how the border of the Kingdom of Murcia was formed with the Kingdom of Valencia.
It includes the journey carried out by the future King Alfonso X for the Crown of Castile in relation to a series of personal and border conflicts with Jaime I of Aragón.
The documentary, 45 minutes long, combines real image with documentary animation, projecting with historical rigor the passages described in interviews with Ángel Luis Molina Molina, professor of Medieval History at the University of Murcia;
Aniceto López Serrano, doctor in History and researcher;
Aurelio Pretel Marín, Doctor in History and founder of the Institute of Albacete Studies;
Enric Guinot i Rodríguez, Professor of Medieval History at the University of Valencia;
José Vicente Cabezuelo Pliego, Professor of Medieval History at the University of Alicante and Pierre Guichard, professor of Medieval History at the Lumière-Lyon II University.
The premiere of 'La Frontera que Une.
The origin of the land of Manuel 'is scheduled for February 2019 in the framework of the aforementioned congress.
