The University of Murcia (UMU) has received the diplomas of the Spanish Network of Healthy Universities (Reus) and the Ibero-American Network of Health Promoting Universities (RIUPS), with which it has been collaborating for ten years.
The vice-rector of Students, María Cristina Sánchez, and the director of the Healthy University Office of Reus-UMU and the Student Health Coordinator, Eva Herrera, were in charge of collecting this recognition at the First Congress of Health Promoting Universities, held in Palma de Mallorca.
In addition to receiving this double recognition for its contribution to the promotion of health among the university community, the University of Murcia has actively participated in the Congress, through presentations and exhibitions on promotion of comprehensive health, especially the student collective, and the different projects in progress around this theme.
The Congress was attended by a delegation representing the University of Murcia headed by the vice-rector, who was accompanied by other members of the teaching staff.
