Cambiemos Murcia has submitted a motion to the plenary session of the municipal board of Los Dolores to be held tomorrow to assume the representation of it, as an organ of the City, in the school councils of the institute "Ramón y Cajal" and the Center for Special Education ( CEE) "Santísimo Cristo de la Misericordia", both located in the district.
Mercedes Nicolás, member of the municipal training, explained that in 2011 the geographical boundaries of the districts were rectified and both schools became part of Los Dolores, although neither the Consistory nor the presidency of the board "have done anything" so that it takes charge of its condition of municipal representative according to the regulations.
In this sense, Nicolás has ensured that assuming this responsibility would mean that the board, through a representative, would be part of the School Board of the centers that have among their competencies the evaluation of the annual programming of the centers, the preparation of proposals for its improvement, the participation in the selection of the director of the center or the promotion of measures that promote equality.
"A greater involvement of the board in the life of these public schools will mean a greater knowledge of the needs and perspectives of our children and youth, giving us the opportunity to collaborate in the educational and cultural purposes offered by these centers", has added the vowel of Cambiemos Murcia.
