UCAM and MARNYS create a chair to research in health and nutrition (12/11/2018)

The San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia and MARNYS, Murcia company dedicated to the development and marketing of food supplements, natural cosmetics and hygiene products and health, have signed an agreement that will propose, design and execute clinical studies to demonstrate the effectiveness of products in the areas of health, sports, nutrition and hygiene.

The agreement, signed by José Luis Mendoza Pérez, president of the UCAM, and Roberto Martínez Moeckel, general director of the Martínez Nieto company (MARNYS), aims to initiate different lines of research related to new active principles, clinical analysis and design. of methodological techniques, among others.

During the signing, Roberto Martínez Moeckel, general director of MARNYS, highlighted the importance of this agreement by joining two prestigious institutions and stressed that "we are proud to work with the UCAM. interesting. "

With the creation of this chair, we want to promote the transfer of technology to the productive fabric and enrich the academic environment with university-business collaborations with the organization of technical conferences, seminars and workshops, as well as with collaborations in practical training programs of degree, master and doctorate.

Luis Tejada, director of the Office of Transfer of Research Results (OTRI) and Javier López Román, director of the Chair of Exercise Physiology, who has advanced to be already collaborating in the development of new products in sports nutrition, which will soon be available in the market.
