The University of Murcia inaugurates on Monday, November 12, the exhibition of awarded and selected works of the XVIII Painting Prize, sponsored by the City of Murcia.
The event will take place in the exhibition hall of the Palacio Almudí Art Center (2nd floor), at 8:00 p.m.
During the event, the prize and diplomas will be awarded to the winner and the second prize:
First prize: Master Yago (Sueca, Valencia) for his work `Escritos desde el silencio.
Accésit: Carolina Valls (Valencia) for his work `Flisch # 2 '.
Accésit: Pau Pellín (Novelda, Alicante) for his work `Biblioteca'.
The event will have the presence, among others, of José Luján, rector of the UMU;
José Ballesta, Mayor of Murcia;
and the painter Pedro Cano, member of the jury and Doctor Honoris Causa by the UMU.
The works can be visited until next December 20.
