The Governing Board has approved the transfer to Astrapace of a space in a building of the City of Murcia located in Zarandona, for the development of the project of Reconciliation of Work and Family Life of this association.
This agreement will allow the entity to respond to the need to have more spaces close to the location of its Day Center, also located in Zarandona, in order to provide a better service to the users and their families, expanding the current coverage, through group workshops aimed at minors with disabilities at risk of social exclusion, integrating their families and promoting the reconciliation of work and family life.
For this purpose they will have the assignment of four classrooms and two offices in the municipal building located in Jesús Hernández Conesa Street No. 7 of Zarandona, a warehouse and a patio area.
The assignment will be temporary for an initial period of two years, and may be subject to extension for periods of one year to complete a maximum of four years.
From the City of Murcia, through the Department of Social Rights and Development Cooperation, and more specifically from the area of ​​disability, for years has been a collaboration agreement with ASTRAPACE to promote the development of projects that the entity carries out related to independent life and work and family conciliation.
The association, which is in turn integrated into the "Full Inclusion" Federation, has been part of the Disability Board since its inception and actively participates in various projects that are promoted and promoted from the social services field at the municipal level.
