The University of Murcia, through the Faculty of Letters, joins this Friday, November 9, to the tribute that the merchants of the Santa Eulalia neighborhood make the writer Pedro García Montalvo.
The presentation ceremony, which will take place at 12 o'clock in Sobrado Optometristas (Calle Vara de Rey, 4), will include the intervention of the Vice Dean of Studies of the Faculty of Arts, José Antonio Molina, who will transfer the support of the University of Murcia to this cultural initiative.
From this Friday, the entrances and shop windows of the Santa Eulalia neighborhood stores will receive the client with the image and a fragment of Montalvo's work.
In successive years, the same showcases will welcome other writers, demonstrating the cultural implication of the associated merchants, according to the president of the Association of Merchants of the Santa Eulalia Neighborhood, Antonio García-Melgarés.
