The councilman of Change Murcia Sergio Ramos has requested today in the Social Commission of follow-up of the works of burial of the railroad, in which ADIF has presented the modifications of the projects of the arrival of the AVE to the municipality, that is studied the opening of a level crossing in the underground zone next to the current pass of Santiago el Mayor.

Ramos explained that the new planning assumes that the AVE will not arrive on the surface and includes cutting the level crossing once the section has been buried from the Los Garres path to Santiago el Mayor.

At that time, the step will be closed for at least eight months, an approximate time as in all public works forecasts.
