The Councilor for Sports and Health, Felipe Coello, has presented this competition with Sonia Lorca, president of the Adapted Swimming Club of Murcia and Manolo Guillén, representative of the Adapted Swimming Club of the Levante.
This Adapted Swimming National Open celebrates its fourth edition on Saturday, at the Mar Menor municipal swimming pool, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
The warm-up will start at 4:00 p.m.
A hundred swimmers, with physical, intellectual or sensorial disabilities, will participate in this event, which will include the Adaponda Club, Acuariun Club, Campanar Acuatic Club, Tritons Club, Assido Murcia, Fundaown and Fuensanta Swimming Club.
Participants can register for free up to a maximum of three events and relays.
The competition tests will be 100 meters back, 100 meters breaststroke, 100 meters butterfly, 100 meters free, 100 meters styles, 200 meters free, 25 meters free, 50 meters back, 50 meters breaststroke, 50 meters butterfly, 50 meters free and 4x50 relay.

Felipe Coello stressed that "these competitions allow you to enjoy sport without any limitations, swimmers being an example of effort and improvement." The City of Murcia will continue to support and help one more year to encourage adapted swimming.
