The Post Office Market of Murcia will open next Tuesday, November 13 at 12:00.
Once the rehabilitation and recovery works of the emblematic building have been completed, of which the façade, the structure and numerous original elements have been preserved, and internal tests have been carried out to verify their operation, it is only necessary to close the last details prior to the opening of this new gastronomic and leisure space promoted by Lonja de Murcia and Grupo Orenes.
"We were clear, from the beginning, that we wanted to open the public as soon as possible so that all Murcia had the opportunity to get to know this project from the first moment, which is why we have ruled out previous inauguration events", explained Miguel Pichardo, General Manager of the Post Office Market.
During that day, in addition to an institutional presentation, visitors can enjoy animations and live music.
Starting on Tuesday, the Post Office Market will open every day of the week, 365 days a year.
The schedule will be the one set by the municipal regulations: from Monday to Thursday, from 10 am to 12 pm, while Friday and Saturday the closing will be delayed until 2 am.
The Post Office Market will have 15 gastronomic stops with different and exclusive activities, two stores selling gourmet products and a tourist information point.
Once underway, it will create 100 direct and more than 150 indirect jobs and an estimated influx of more than 400,000 annual visitors is estimated, which will mean an economic impact between 5 and 8 million euros.
