This morning's meeting of the Contracting Committee, chaired by Eduardo Martínez-Oliva, has analyzed the documentation submitted by the 16 companies that have submitted bids for a new Murcia River project, specifically, the adequacy of the left mota of the river Safe for recreational use.
Of the 16 companies interested in the contract, three of them must correct any deficiency detected in the administrative documentation, before knowing the economic proposals in a next call of the Contracting Committee.
With a length of 1,550 meters, from Los Molinos del Río to La Fica, the action provides for the planting of a wide variety of plant species of different sizes, as well as trees on the side adjacent to the channeling wall, in addition to intervening on the slope of the speck to try to weaken the growth of invasive species and thus eliminate them completely.
A special concrete paving is also planned for the descent of each staircase so that pedestrians crossing the bike lane to access the pedestrian promenade can do so more safely.
The project has a contract execution budget of 797,433.34 euros, 80% of which is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Union, within the framework of the Operational Program for sustainable growth 2014-2020 , with the DUSI Murcia IT Strategy: Innovation + Tradition.
The expected work period is four months, although the actions on the slope of the mote for the elimination of cane and invasive species are expected to develop up to twelve months.
