The City of Murcia puts tomorrow a citizen consultation, driven by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in the Faculty of Labor Sciences of the University of Murcia that will become the center of a process of reflection on the future of European policies in terms of employment.
In this event, carried out in collaboration with the University of Murcia, we are working together to design a space for debate on a field as relevant as Employment in Europe.
To this end, a series of working groups have been created in which the neighbors themselves and the students will be the ones who will tackle some of the most relevant issues for the future of European employment policies.
The local dimension of employment policies, the mobility of workers, employment in rural areas, the capacity to transform the labor market of Smart City, the new phenomena of precarization and vulnerability or the convenience of a unified regulatory framework in the matter of labor law will be some of the issues that will guide the participation of citizens.
To make the debate more agile, the researchers of the University of Murcia have prepared a series of materials in which, through working documents and posters, the situation of each of the dimensions will be reflected in an intuitive and dynamic way. proposals.
In this way, the role of the experts will focus solely on favoring dialogue and moderating the session, establishing the turns of the word and compiling the proposals and conclusions, so that the citizens themselves will be the protagonists of the consultation without any interference .
The work spaces will be developed outdoors and in a playful and carefree environment to favor participation and spontaneity.
Those interested in participating can register in the working groups that are available on the page hablamosdeeuropa.observalocal.com
One of the great novelties of the Citizen Consultations is that the results of this consultation process that is being carried out throughout Europe will be sent to the European Council that will take place in December of this year, so that the participants have the opportunity Real to build, from your own position as a European citizen, the policies that will affect us in the future.
