The general secretary of PSRM-PSOE, Diego Conesa, has inaugurated the conference on Economy and Employment organized by the Socialist Executive of the municipality of Murcia, and has claimed the central role that education must play, "as an engine, not only for mobility social, but also to exploit opportunities. "
He has ensured that attractive cities have to retain the expense generated in their environment, through an adequate offer of leisure and trade.
According to Diego Conesa, the socialist candidate for mayor of Murcia, José Antonio Serrano, offers that alternative of change.
"Total and absolute support to the candidate, the Municipal Executive and the thirteen groups of the municipality, with which we will carry out a work dynamic to recover, 28 years later, the city of Murcia and the Region."
For the general secretary of the PSRM, the verb to listen is the most important verb in politics: "to listen to the citizenship, to civil society and to the representatives of organizations that are in the day to day of the economic movement of the municipality of Murcia and the Region".
"The projects can only be if they are collaborative projects, shared, open to the opinion of all, the city has to contain an attractive tourist offer to be able to attract people living in other cities and countries," he said.
For his part, the socialist candidate for mayor of Murcia, José Antonio Serrano, explained that this conference, entitled 'A municipality at the service of citizenship and the common good', addresses the most important issue for citizenship of the municipality: employment and the economy.
"We want Murcia to generate employment and sustainable tourism, to be a municipality with progressive taxation and to be more in agreement with the society in which we live," he said.
"All these issues are going to deal with associations, unions, social and economic agents, with the aim of giving us their ideas and proposals to improve our electoral program," he concluded.
