The Councilor for Modernization of Administration and Urban Development, José Guillén, has refuted 'point by point the inaccuracies, if not falsehoods', that the spokesman of Citizens has said about the contract of conservation, maintenance and restoration of gardens in neighborhoods and districts .

In this sense, it has denied categorically that there has been any breach of the Public Sector Contracts Law, even less in the 2.5% limit of the improvements section because this percentage is only fixed for contracts in which it exceeds 50% the criteria subject to value judgments, and that require the creation of a commission of experts to value them, and that is not the case of this contract, "says Guillén.

Regarding the information that the bidder must present, each one will be free to deliver more or less.

'The councilor stressed that the object of the contract are all green areas of the municipality, with more or less surface.

"There are many appeals for compliance with the parks and gardens ordinance, since obviously, any criteria that violate the norm will not be taken into account," he insists.

"It seems that Ciudadanos does not understand that the list of conditions includes the restoration of gardens, but we believe that in addition to maintaining them, it is also possible to recover them," the popular councilor adds.

Therefore, there are 3 specific items in each of the lots, for an amount of 1,600,000 euros, 600,000 euros and 400,000 euros, respectively.

And this contract is going to suppose a historical revulsive one for the improvement of the gardens of all the municipality.
