This is the first call to the Local Police of Murcia after more than a decade and the most important in the region in recent years, by which the City will strengthen the workforce to a total of 650 troops
A total of 56 new agents, 46 for the free time and 10 for the mobility shift, will be incorporated in the coming months to the Local Police of Murcia to strengthen the security in districts and fight against uncivil behavior in the streets of Murcia. municipality.

A total of 46 places correspond to the free shift, to which must be added another 10 destined for the mobility shift, and to which agents from other municipalities of the Region can choose.
This is the first call to the Local Police Corps of the City of Murcia after 11 years (the last was in 2007) and the most important in the Region in recent years, by which the Consistory will reinforce the staff reaching up to a total of 650 employees, after the incorporation of these 56 places corresponding to the 2016, 2017 and 2018 Public Employment Offer.
"In this way we guarantee greater security in the municipality, allowing greater control of urban vandalism and uncivil behavior in public spaces, which will mean that new troops can patrol the streets of Murcia in the coming months."

The BOE has published the extract of the bases that govern the call to provide these new positions of agent, belonging to the scale of Special Administration, subscale of Special Services and Local Police class, through opposition system, free turn.
The bases of the call, with the requirements and agendas, are published in the BORM of December 19, 2017 and BORM September 26, 2018.
The deadline for submitting applications opens tomorrow and interested parties may submit the required documentation in the next 20 calendar days (from October 18 to November 6, both inclusive).
After the publication of the provisional lists, a claim period will be opened.
It is expected that the exams will be held throughout the first quarter of 2019. Those selected must pass a training period in the Academy as officers in practice, within the selection process, after which they will begin to patrol the streets of the municipality.
