The University of Murcia inaugurates on Thursday, October 18, the exhibition `Ode to the (r) existence 'of Roberto Carter and El Gaba, which will be held in the José Nicolás Almansa room at the University Museum, at 8:00 p.m.
`Ode to (r) existence 'fits into the context of the philosophical philosopher Jean Paul Sartre's existentialist reflection to demonstrate how the Venezuelan artist El Gaba and the painter Roberto Carter find ways to exist associated with their intrinsic states of freedom and anguish.
Two artists in different contexts and, nevertheless, two people who find in it their artistic practice as a way to be able to fully exercise their freedom.
The exhibition, curated by Ana da Cunha, can be visited until November 16 from Monday to Friday from 11 am to 2 pm and from 6 pm to 9 pm.
