Point 5.1 of the agreement signed by the Popular Party and Citizens for the Budgets of the City Council foresees the 'reservation of contracts for insertion companies, special employment centers and social economy entities'.

That is why Councilman Eduardo Martínez-Oliva shows his surprise at the PSOE demonstrations this morning 'asking us to put in motion something that we have not only started, but that we are about to conclude.

The new social clauses that are intended to be incorporated refer to the socio-occupational insertion of people in situations of social exclusion and / or persons with functional diversity, the protection of the labor rights of the workers assigned to the execution of the appropriate contract, the improvement of professional training through on-the-job training, the promotion of effective equality between women and men, the safeguarding of occupational safety and health, the reconciliation of work and family life or, among others, better accessibility.

But 'the PSOE should know that the law grants a period of three months from the approval of the budgets to establish what percentage of the contracts must have this reserve'.

This procedure will conclude soon, since a circular has already been sent to the different services to indicate the availability in each of their service contracts.

That does not mean that there are no contracts with social clauses.

"As the socialist spokesperson recognizes, in Parks and Gardens already exist, what happens is that, apparently, she does not like it," explains Martínez-Oliva.

It also stresses that the City of Murcia has been a pioneer in the construction of a car park, whose works are very advanced, which will be managed directly by an entity in the field of disability.
