The X Manga Fair and Japanese Culture returns to Murcia on November 23, 24 and 25 (15/10/2018)

This cultural event will be attended by the Japanese animation director Matsutake Tokuyuki and with a tribute to the Naruto series. Also, concerts, workshops and a 'Mangateka' will be installed, a manga reading area in the Víctor Villegas auditorium

Councilor for Economic Promotion, Culture and European Programs, Jesus Pacheco has presented this morning along with the Minister of Culture and Spokesperson of the Region of Murcia, Miriam Guardiola, the tenth edition of the Manga Salon of Murcia and the Japanese Culture of Murcia, 'Murcia Remanga' will be held on 23, 24 and 25 November at the Víctor Villegas Auditorium.

Jesús Pacheco pointed out that "this event is consolidated as the second most important manga show on a national level after Barcelona and the first in Europe in terms of visitor-population.

It will be full of activities and there will be four concerts on the stage of the auditorium itself and more than 350 different activities in this tenth edition of the Salón del Manga in Murcia ".

An area of ​​national artists and illustrators will be installed, Japanese gastronomic proposals will be established and a manga reading point, the 'Mangateka', will be established by the Regional Library.

Likewise, Matsutake Tokuyuki, director of Japanese animation who has worked for such important anime series as Naruto or Ranma ½ and well-known videogames, will be the guest of honor, offering lectures, talks, master classes and will share moments with his fans.

There will also be a tribute to the Naruto series with exhibitions, workshops and talks, among others, in addition, large publishers of the sector repeat after the success of last year as Norma, Ivrea or Selecta Vision

"40,000 attendees are expected, of which about 25,000 are from outside the municipality, and more than 15,000 from outside the region, so this Manga Room opens the Japanese culture not only to Murcia, but throughout Spain.
