The Educational Technology research group of the University of Murcia, directed by Mª Paz Prendes, organizes on October 15 and 16 the Erasmus + Disabuse project meeting, which aims to prevent harassment of people with disabilities.
The Disabuse team is designing an interactive tool for the prevention and treatment of bullying of youth and adults with Special Educational Needs with Disability (SEN / D).
This tool will also be useful for teachers and professional trainers when teaching.
To this end, the partner countries (Ireland, Italy, Portugal and Spain) are working as a team to combine research, best practices and modern pedagogical approaches such as virtual learning, peer learning and peer teaching.
Interactive resources under development will be available on the web www.disabuse.eu to help young people and adults with SEN / D.
In turn, support services will be offered to trainers and teachers so that they become aware of the importance of this reality and can prevent it from occurring.
The project lasts 2 years and is funded by the Erasmus + program of the European Commission.
The following institutions participate in it: University Institute of Lisbon (Portugal), Fondazione Mondo Digtale (Italy), Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology (Ireland), Dublin City University National Anti-Bullying Center (Ireland) and the University of Murcia (Spain).
