The Catholic University and the INCYDE Foundation today signed an agreement for the launch of the second edition of 'Digital transformation, business management and entrepreneurship of cultural and creative companies, Dicultura', a program that will allow the development of 30 new entrepreneurial projects .
This edition will be developed at the Los Dolores campus of UCAM Cartagena, completely free of charge for the student.
Four years have passed since the INCYDE Foundation and the San Antonio Catholic University signed their first collaboration agreement, since then they have launched more than twelve training programs with which they have promoted entrepreneurial support programs and consolidation of the business fabric, financed for the European Social Fund.
The agreement signed today by the president of the UCAM, José Luis Mendoza and the general director of the INCYDE Foundation, Francisco Javier Collado enables the development of the course 'Digital transformation, business management and entrepreneurship of cultural and creative companies (Dicultura ) 'with which about 30 new entrepreneurial projects can be developed.
The general director of the INCYDE Foundation, Javier Collado, says that "with this agreement we want to bet on, what in Latin America they call the orange economy, the economy based on culture, which we consider is one of the lines of the future, and we choose the Universidad Católica de Murcia to impart it, for its way of working with entrepreneurship and its capacity to promote new companies, we value our work with the UCAM very positively, since in addition to this collaboration with the Technological Institute of Murcia, we also work with the Chair International Women, Business and Sports and we are now immersed with the High Technology Incubator project of the UCAM ".
The Technological Institute of Murcia of the UCAM manages the Dicultura project.
For its executive director, César Nicolás "with this signature we are launching a new program that brings together two major bets of the UCAM, on the one hand, the digital transformation oriented to cultural and creative industries, and on the other hand, we expand our presence in the campus of Cartagena ".
Nicolás says that the first edition of this course was a success, since 80% of the entrepreneurial projects that made the program ended up being a business reality "the programs we carry out with the INCYDE Foundation have a high response and a high degree of employability, so they are proving successful. "
This second edition of Dicultura will be held at the Los Dolores Campus of the UCAM, in Cartagena, and will be offered free of charge for five weeks and will begin in mid-November.
During the program, five consultants from different specialties will give shape to the projects presented by the students through two joint classes and one individualized tutoring per week.
