Citizens has shown their satisfaction to verify that the regional government is implementing the amendment presented by the orange training in the budgets of the year 2017, through which Cs allocated one million euros for the improvement of equipment in vocational training centers .
Juan José Molina, regional deputy of Citizens, Mario Gómez, spokesman for Cs in the City of Murcia, Carlos Peñafiel, councilor of the orange formation and Daniel Hernandez, mayor pedáneo of El Palmar have visited one of the centers benefited by this investment: IES Sierra de Carrascoy of El Palmar that has acquired among other materials, a didactic trainer of wind turbine and another of solar panels, in addition to equipment for air conditioning or welding.
Molina has positively assessed the improvements that have occurred in the IES Sierra de Carrascoy, as well as the work that is being developed in other centers "because for us Vocational Training has always been a pillar of the educational system and we understand that it has been abandoned by the regional government, as evidenced by the fact that in 2014 the budget allocated for investment in equipment was only 500,000 euros, an absolutely insufficient amount that caused the materials to become obsolete or that the spaces in which the classes and activities were inadequate, all of which resulted in a decline in quality ".
In this regard, the deputy of Cs has praised the work of teachers who "have tried to fill these gaps based on goodwill and the use of the few resources available, but it was not logical that Vocational Training was arranged based on patches, so Citizens has understood that an economic contribution was necessary to end these deficiencies, and for this reason we allocate one million euros in budgets to improve the resources of the centers. "
"We hope that all vocational training centers in our region have the necessary materials to be able to develop an adequate education, so that students acquire the relevant knowledge to enter the labor market after receiving the best possible training", concluded Molina.
