The City of Murcia has a maintenance service and care of parks and green areas that makes every day more than 200 people go out to the street with a single mission: take care of the municipality of Murcia.
"We do not understand that parterres within a global of 3,000,000 square meters are enough to be able to qualify a constant and global work", explains the mayor of Modernization of the Administration and Urban Development, José Guillén.
In particular, in these spaces referred to now Murcia, various factors influence: a high degree of vandalism, inadequate behavior of some dogs that lift the geotextile material that protects these beds, as well as the gravel that is placed in these.
To these factors is added the typology of the aforementioned gravel that makes it possible to fly out of the beds with ease.
In addition, from the Service of Parks and Gardens remember that the month of October is the epoch in which, by climatic conditions, the replacement of bushes and trees occurs throughout the municipality.
For this reason, Guillén advances that "today we will continue to act within the different actions programmed in these spaces so that they show all their beauty and immediately solve the small existing problems, as it is done on a day-to-day basis without turning it into a tena to do second politics'.
These parterres, located in Juan de Borbón, account for less than 0.1% of the total square meters in which each day is acted, even so, 'for the City of Murcia and the Park and Garden Service no space is less important that another, "he adds.
"Therefore, the performance is already assigned by different professionals who will analyze the different improvements that must be carried out and once that is done, they will intervene as quickly as possible to ensure that both residents of the area and Murcia can return. to enjoy this space of green areas ", explains the mayor Guillén.
On the other hand, it can not be ignored that numerous incidents are solved every day, which are collected both through the municipal services of the Murcia Consistory and through the web and social networks of the concessionaire company.
Finally, Guillén insists on remembering that 'more than 200 professionals, both from the STV Gestión concessionary company, and the Murcia Consistory, get up with an idea in their heads: to continue beautifying and caring for the city in which they live and where they develop both their professional and personal activity.
For that reason, for the owner of Parks and Gardens' it seems irresponsible and disproportionate to throw all that work by land for a couple of vandalized parterres, even more so when only communicating it to the council by any of the ways we would have solved it in less than 24 hours as it is done daily with all the incidents that come to us.
