The Councilor for Urban Planning, Environment, Water and Vegetable Garden, Antonio Navarro, together with the Councilor for Infrastructure and Public Works and Services, Rebeca Pérez, and the Councilor for Economic Promotion, Culture and European Programs, Jesús Pacheco, present the second edition of 'Majal Blanco Sounds' after the success and the great participation that left this first cycle that finalized the past spring.
Navarro recalled that "this cycle of concerts in this special environment has as its main objective to combine music and nature, that is why it is held in the Nature Classroom of the El Majal Blanco municipal farm, located in the heart of the El Valle and Carrascoy Regional Park, that will become a natural scenario where four musical concerts of different styles will be accommodated: folk, blues singer-songwriter and old music ".
It is an activity for all audiences, for lovers of nature, culture and gastronomy, which will be held in autumn and spring, taking into account that the concerts will be outdoors and in natural light.
In addition, as in the first edition, all concerts will be accompanied by a tasting of typical Murcian tapas.
The concerts this fall will be held on October 19 with the traditional music group 'Mujeres con Raíz'.
This group was created in 2014 to pay a well-deserved tribute to the traditional voice of Murcian women.
Songs of lullaby, prayers, children's songs, jotas, parrandas or malagueñas are part of his repertoire where they review all the ages of life.
