The trip from home to the institute is an eternity for a hundred students of Bachillerato and FP from the Ramón y Cajal, Floridablanca and Saavedra Fajardo centers.
Young people must leave before seven in the morning from their homes in the districts of Nonduermas, La Raya, San Ginés, Era Alta and Rincón de Seca to enter class on time.
But, almost all arrive late and many do not allow them to enter the classroom, after having passed, to top it off, an ordeal because of the overcrowding of the regular line buses that they must take because they do not allow them to board the buses that carry ESO children to their educational centers in the capital, which caused some 60 students, accompanied by fathers and mothers, have demonstrated today at the headquarters of the Ministry of Education to express their discomfort and demand solutions.
"It is a desperate odyssey that harms the educational training of our children," lamented Mari Carmen Rodenas, mother of a student who described this situation as unjust: "Children could get on school buses paying a bonus last year, this year not , it seems they have suppressed buses. "
In addition, he said that students are sometimes left at stops during peak hours because they have to wait for other passengers to enter.
