The Councilor for Education, Relations with Universities and Heritage responds to Murcia Now 'inoperancia is the policy they carry out from the first day they entered the City: criticize and censor, but without a single proposal or a good idea'

Since the current Corporation took office just over three years ago, Murcia has six new libraries and study rooms in districts and the construction of three others is under way.

"The data serve to respond to Now Murcia, although with their usual demagoguery what they are interested in is confusing and distorting," explained Councilor for Education, Relations with Universities and Heritage, Rafael Gomez.

The new facilities are located in Sangonera la Seca, Sangonera la Verde, Los Dolores, Alquerías, Torreagüera and Espinardo, while those in Beniaján and Ronda Sur are under construction.

In addition, the technical services are drafting the El Palmar library project.

When the councilors of Now Murcia ask for the staff provided for these units and the management form 'demonstrate their absolute ignorance about the operation of the study rooms, planned to open 24 hours with a system of access by personal card'.

Rafael Gómez also draws attention to the 'hypocrisy they practice, since on the one hand they demand investments but they are not willing to lift a finger when it comes to approving budgets, necessary to be able to carry out works'.
