Cambiemos Murcia has requested today the municipal government to recover the program of support for the training of people in a situation of social difficulty, which stopped being carried out in the summer of 2016.
The aforementioned program, dependent on the Department of Social Rights, attended an average of 40 people, especially women in vulnerable circumstances, and its objective was to promote basic training and social skills and abilities.
The project involved the completion of a summer school in which the children of the users participated and a scholarship whose amount, which depended on attending the course, was an "important help for the subsistence of the beneficiary families". edil municipal training, Margarita Guerrero, explained that in the past two years the City Council has managed direct financial assistance to students who have continued in Adult Education, but not the training and personal and socio-community promotion actions that made sense to the program.
"As important is the scholarship as the activities aimed at training," said Guerrero, who has also reported that Cambiemos Murcia in June addressed a communication to the aforementioned council to see when the program will resume, but so far has not received answer.
