The socialist spokesman in the Municipal Board of Santa Cruz, Antonio García Mirete, has denounced the arrogance of the Popular Group in the person of his pedáneo, Pedro Sánchez Navarro, by refusing to give a space in mayor for opposition groups, not complying with This is the agreement of November 2015 Plenary of the City of Murcia, approved unanimously.
There is the circumstance that the opposition groups have to meet in a garden to discuss the problems of the district, as well as for the drafting of motions and proposals to improve the conditions of the neighbors of the same.
However, the aforementioned agreement of the Plenary establishes that "associations and non-profit organizations may use the existing public spaces in neighborhoods and districts, so that no group is left without an activity while there are public places closed."
For Antonio García, this caciquit and obtrucionista attitude, demonstrates the scarce democratic spirit of the pedáneo of Santa Cruz, that follows the trajectory of its previous regent.
In his opinion "this behavior prevents the activity of the opposition in normal conditions of the XXI century and in accordance with the regulations that govern the City of Murcia, without any objective reason, except to torpedo the action of the opposition to the PP."
For this reason, the protests of the neighbors towards the poor management of the PP in Santa Cruz have to be addressed by the spokesman of the PSOE, sitting in the street on a bench or at the bar of a bar.
"This supposes a contempt towards the people of this town that have the right to express their opinions, needs and proposals with dignity and with freedom, according to the times we live."
Thus, García Mirete, had to attend to the neighbors last week in a cafeteria in the hamlet before the concern about the sorry state of the river, completely blinded by the cane fields and cold drop warning, something that in the village has caused floods in previous years.
