The University of Murcia inaugurates this Thursday, September 27, the `III Congress of Biodiversity and conservation of Nature: dissemination and knowledge transfer between different sectors of society'.
The act will take place in the auditorium Hermenegildo Lumeras de Castro of the Faculty of Chemistry, at 9:30 am.
It will have the presence, among others, of José Luján Alcaraz, rector of the UMU;
Consuelo Rosauro Meseguer, general director of Medio Medio de la CARM;
and Alfonsa García Ayala, dean of the Faculty of Biology.
Currently, the conservation of nature is an issue that is becoming a major player in society due to the serious climatic and environmental problems that our planet is facing.
The aim of this congress is, precisely, to expand the knowledge on these topics to contribute to the development of interdisciplinary projects that collaborate in their conservation.
The meeting, in whose organization the faculty of Biology of the UMU has participated, will take place from September 27 to 29.
During these days, in addition to conferences, round tables and association fairs, there will be a visit to the Calblanque Regional Park, Monte de las Cenizas and Peña del Águila.
