NOW MURCIA claims Councilman Jesús Pacheco explanations about the situation of the personnel of the cultural spaces of the municipality.
The mayor Alicia Morales points out that "we have lived these 3 years of the mandate of Ballesta a situation of chaos and misinformation to which now adds the uncertainty that opens with the recent retirement of the head of the Museum Service, which was responsible for all municipal museums ".
Alicia Morales states that the Councilor for Culture "continues to shed no light, despite the continuing requirements of this municipal group, about the situation of personnel in the cultural spaces of the municipality: museums, auditoriums, visitor centers and cultural centers."
For the mayor of Now Murcia, the management of municipal cultural spaces "has been in precarious since the arrival of Ballesta to the Glorieta, with workers with contracts far lower than the work they perform and their certification, with a huge chaos in the personnel management and with a completely abandoned service ".
For all this, now Murcia will ask in writing in the plenary of this Thursday to Jesús Pacheco about the real data of the personnel of the cultural spaces;

"The management of cultural spaces in our municipality," adds Morales, "should be fundamental for the municipal government of the PP, but it is not even for the mayor of Culture, Pacheco." Municipal museums are moving forward thanks to the efforts of the officials, but they are not well endowed nor with a responsible and effective political management ".

"The PP councilor has the duty," concludes Morales, "to offer the opposition and citizens real information about the staff available to the City Council for Culture, how it is distributed and in what work categories, because we keep thinking that something as important as culture can not live immersed in precariousness and chaos. "
