The Councilor for Traffic and Security, Lola Sanchez, chaired this morning the Public Car Park Follow-up Commission, which has been attended by municipal and Urbamusa technicians, who manage the car parks of the Artillery Barracks and Santa Isabel.
In the meeting, different actions to improve both facilities were studied.
Thus, in the Artillery Barracks the accesses have been cleaned and a specific machinery has been acquired to clean the interior.
In addition, three electric vehicle recharging points have been installed and access to road traffic has been improved by installing a barrier on Herradura Street.
As for the Santa Isabel car park, it has already begun to offer one-hour parking cards so that the merchants of the area can offer this service to their customers.
A fiberline will be installed soon so that the parking lot can be integrated into the multiparking card.
The councilor Lola Sanchez explained that "with these actions we move forward in the modernization and improvement of public management parking in the municipality."
