The mayoral candidate for the PSOE, accompanied by the head of Political Action within the Municipal Executive, Esther Nevado;
and the councilor of the City Council Maite Espinosa, has visited the Book Fair that takes place during this weekend on Avenida Alfonso X El Sabio in the capital and has shared concerns with booksellers and writers
José Antonio Serrano shows his absolute support to those who have made it possible for a show that had not been held for almost a decade to come back and has done so with a considerable success of the public, "because there is more to come these days to Avenida Alfonso X for check that Murcia and Murcia are desirous of culture and that is important, "as declared by the secretary general of socialists in the municipality and mayoral candidate for the PSOE in the capital.
"It's a fair that was a benchmark for years, which was a long time without being held and now comes back with strength," says Serrano.
From Friday and until tomorrow, Sunday, from ten in the morning to nine thirty in the evening, you can find copies of literature in about thirty exhibitors who have been placed in the central promenade of Murcia, but the Book Fair It's much more than that.
The organization, which is run by the Palin Association and in collaboration with the City of Murcia and the Autonomous Community, has scheduled more than 20 official events, including book presentations and signatures of copies by their authors , as well as various cultural activities dedicated to all audiences and developed throughout the week such as children's workshops, storytelling, musical performances and lectures and round tables on literature.
The fifteenth edition of this Fair comes after almost a decade of a vacuum that was convenient to fill.
"Murcia is a living municipality in which traditional parties fit, of course, but also this type of culture that can and should be a basic pillar for the development of society and a backbone of the economy," says José Antonio Serrano
