The University of Murcia and the CEPAIM Foundation have organized the conference `Violence against women's sexuality: psychological, social and work intervention ', which will take place next Tuesday, September 25, in the Hemicycle of the Faculty of Letters (Campus de la Merced) from 9 o'clock.
Within the goal of eradicating violence against women, abuse towards the body and sexuality is the origin and the central point.
From the professional practice it is observed that this violence is a silenced reality that positions the body and the female image as an object of external gaze, something that inevitably affects the ability to achieve, so necessary in the labor insertion and in employment.
This day is aimed at improving training and professional resources in the face of sexual violence through professional practice.
It will address the analysis of its manifestations and how they affect the overall health of women, as well as encourage a critical attitude towards this violence from the university level.
