The Councilor for Infrastructure, Public Works and Services, Rebeca Pérez and the Councilor for Economic Promotion, Culture and European Programs, Jesús Pacheco, presented this morning, together with the Murcian designer Javier Mármol, his next parade that will take place tomorrow in Algezares.
"Javier Mármol is one of the young artists of Murcia who has participated in numerous activities organized by the Department of Infrastructure, Public Works and Services, in his area of ​​Youth, has been present at 'Welcome to Spring 2017' or 'Made in Murcia ', events that aim to enhance the talent of our young people and give them visibility ", explained Rebeca Pérez.
The collection presented is inspired by the 70s, made with black fabrics and minimalist airs.
The Hollywood style and the tuxedo will be the protagonists of 'Hotel', which is the name of their new work.
The setting chosen for the parade is the Plaza de Nuestra Senora de Loreto in Algezares, where the designer from Murcia has spent his childhood.
The building from the beginning of the 20th century, in the neoclassical style, will be 'transformed' into a hotel to contextualise the parade.
"This young designer is a true defender of his land and his roots and is carrying the name of Murcia throughout Spain." Participate in the same 27 models throughout Spain, including the international model Macarena Echevarría (image of Aristocrazy) and Amparo Bonmatí.
Personalities from the social, cultural and political life of the whole country will also be present.
Hotel is the 5th collection of Javier Mármol
Javier Mármol has three years of experience in the sector.
A brand that, despite its brief history as a firm, already has a wide recognition in the whole panorama of national fashion.
Marmol designs have been presented in recent years in the Fashion Week in Seville, which received an important reception, as well as numerous exclusive events in the region, which had an attendance of more than 1,500 people.
Likewise, some of his garments have appeared in prestigious magazines such as Hola, Mujer de Hoy, Lucía Se Casa or Telva.
His previous work, 'We Love Caroline' is a collection of Mediterranean style.
Garments and combinations that take as inspiration the popular Princess Carolina de Monaco, one of the fashion icons of the last decades.
This event was attended by personalities from the social, cultural, sports and political life of the country, such as SAR Beatriz de Orleans, Daniel San Martin, Julián Porras-Figueroa, Nacho Zontes and David Enguita.
