La Católica de Murcia is already the university of Spain that offers the most degrees in English, six in addition to seven postgraduate degrees.
Among the novelties is the Degree in Translation and Interpretation, higher FP in Oral Hygiene and half in 'Emergencies and Civil Protection' and in 'Underwater and Hyperbaric Operations'
Thousands of students have returned to the classrooms of the UCAM campuses in Murcia and Cartagena to resume their academic activity after the summer period and the September exams.
The number of students has experienced a great increase again this year, which will lead to a greater generation of employment.
Particularly noteworthy is the significant increase in enrollments in the different engineering courses offered by the University, such as: Civil Engineering, Architecture, Computer Science, Teleco and Building Engineering, as well as in the degrees in the area of ​​Health Sciences.
The high number of degrees that will be taught entirely in English, apart from its Spanish version, will be another of the most relevant aspects of the academic offer of the Catholic University of Murcia for this course and that place it as the university of Spain that counts with more degree qualifications entirely in English.
Specifically this course will be taught five degrees in this language: Dentistry, CAFD, Modern Languages, ADE and Tourism.
To these will be added a sixth title next year, the Degree in Pharmacy.
In addition, the UCAM teaches seven official masters in the Anglo-Saxon language.
Thanks to this commitment to the internationalization of the Catholic University, every year the number of foreign students trained in the classrooms of the Los Jerónimos and Los Dolores campuses is higher.
More than 2,000 foreign students were trained at the UCAM last year and this year it is expected that even these figures can be overcome.
On the other hand, the Degree in Translation and Interpretation will also begin its journey in the UCAM this year.
The dental clinic UCAM Dental, located in the ZigZag Leisure Center, is another attraction for this course.
In their facilities, both dentistry students in English and Spanish will participate in the practices, as well as those of the Vocational Training Cycle of Higher Technician in Oral Hygiene.
The clinic is now fully operational and open to the general public.
High specialization FP
The FP, through the Higher Institute of FP San Antonio, will also have a large number of students in the different training cycles that it has in Murcia and Cartagena.
These degrees will have as fundamental axis offer the student a high specialization that will help them to continue their education with university studies.
This course has the news of the aforementioned Vocational Training Cycle of Higher Technician in Oral Hygiene that will be taught in Murcia and the titles of Vocational Training in 'Emergencies and Civil Protection' and in 'Underwater and Hyperbaric Operations' They will offer in the Campus of Cartagena next to The SGS Maritime & Offshore International Center.
