The Governing Board has approved the order to Urbamusa to write the internal urbanization project and construction of the plot of the Center for Municipal Initiatives CIM-M.
The Department of Economic Promotion, Culture and European Programs will invest close to 100,000 euros to develop work to create a new training room and new offices for entrepreneurs.
In addition, the plot where these facilities are located will be adapted so that entrepreneurs can carry out activities and presentations.
In collaboration with the Department of Education and Heritage will also adapt a municipal plot attached to the CIM-M to be used as parking by users of the center.
The Center for Municipal Initiatives of Murcia (CIM-M) is a space promoted by the City of Murcia aimed at entrepreneurs and their business initiatives.
It will facilitate the birth, establishment and consolidation of recently created business projects or that are in the process of implementation, in order to better and faster integration into the business fabric.
During the past year 2017, the Municipal Initiatives Center organized 125 days and 18 Workshops, with a total of 402 hours of training and a participation of 2,400 people.
It also received 5,238 visitors and 1,086 people were advised by Development Agents thanks to which 68 companies were created (44 have been constituted by women and 24 by men), with which 73 people have been inserted into the labor market.
