The patron saint festivities of Nonduermas begin tomorrow and Rebeca Pérez, Councilor for Infrastructures, Public Works and Services, is in charge of giving a proclamation of the festivities, marked by the history of the district.

On Sunday there will be a pilgrimage with the image of the Blessed Virgin of Cortes to the Hermitage at 7:30 p.m.
In addition, on Monday there will be a group and couples dance competition, in which more than 400 young people will participate.
It is the III Hip-hop group dance contest, and the first dance for couples.
Both will take place on September 10 at the Nonduermas festival grounds.
In the group dance contest, 21 groups of 18 to 20 people are expected to participate.
In total, more than 400 people will be able to demonstrate their skills in this discipline.
The winning group will receive a prize of 400 euros, followed by a second prize of 200 euros and a third prize of 100 euros.
That same day, there will also be the first dance contest for couples, in which there are 26 people enrolled, 13 couples.
The prize for this contest is 100 euros.
Both events are organized by the festival commission and the Vive Nonduermas youth association, in collaboration with the Autonomous Community and the City of Murcia.
