Murcia change has today denounced the "passivity" of the municipal government to the constant accumulation of debris, equipment, clothing and furniture on the banks of the Canal Reguerón as it passes through El Palmar.
The vocalist of the municipal training in the hamlet, Ana Serrano, has indicated that the area, where different species of fauna coexist as foxes and owls, has been so for years and the government team "does nothing to address this situation" .Change Murcia presented together with Now Murcia and PSOE a motion to the Plenary of the municipal meeting last June to request the cleanup of the space, which received the support of all groups but have not yet undertaken the work.
The initiative called for the cleaning of the road parallel to the riverbed by the Segura Hydrographic Confederation (CHS) or, failing that, by the municipal council, both in the Reguerón area next to the Ramón Allberca hospital, and in the stretch that runs from the road from San Ginés to Sangonera la Verde.
To change Murcia, it is also necessary to limit access to vehicles of the competent administrations for these sections since they are not steps to homes, businesses or workplaces, in order to stop the accumulation of debris by individuals.
