The Councilor for Economic Promotion, Culture and European Programs, Jesús Pacheco, accompanied by the pedáneo mayor of Torreagüera, Fulgencio Perona, presented this morning the XXXV cultural days of the Peña El Ciazo and the XIII international festival of folklore of the Torreagüera festivities which will be held in the district between September 6 and 9.
Groups from Romania and Kenya will act during these days accompanying other groups such as Rincón Pulpitero, Peña El Cántaro, Peña La Graná, San Pío X Folk Group, Antonete Gálvez Folk Group and Peña El Ciazo.
In addition, on Sunday 9 the district will host a Festival of prickly pear with the performance of the Tuna District Murcia 1912 and the Medicine Tuna of Murcia.
La Peña Huertana el Ciazo, was born in 1980 under the auspices of a group of enthusiasts of the Huerta customs and the following year, when the group enrolled in the Peñas Huertanas Federation, they began to work on the formation of a folkloric group, rondalla and chorus, always with the concept of rescuing, preserving and disseminating the customs and traditions of Murcia.
Councilman for Economic Promotion, Culture and European Programs, Jesus Pacheco, wanted to thank "Peña el Ciazo not only to organize cultural activities like this, but also throughout the year bet on the maintenance of our traditions."

Thursday, September 6:
9.30 pm: Baptism of the new members, election of the huertana of the year and election of the honorary member.
Delivery of gifts to the winners of the drawing contest 'Poster announcer of the International Folklore Festival'.
Performance of the group Mikol Rumba Flamenca.
Friday, September 7
9.30 pm: Children's Folklore Festival with the performance of Rincon Pulpitero, Peña El Cántaro, Peña La Graná and Peña El Ciazo
Saturday, September 8
9.30 pm: International Folklore Festival.
Folkloric Group San Pío X of the Peña Huertana La Graná, Siretul Folkloric Group of Romania, Folkloric Taffi Dancers Group of Kenya and Antonete Gálvez Folkloric Group of Torreagüera.
Sunday, September 9
9.30 pm: Festival of Tunas with the performance of the Tuna de Murcia Murcia 1912 and Medicine Tuna of Murcia
