The Wine and Gastronomy Fair Gastrovin celebrates its XVI edition offering, in the Malecón Garden, the best of Murcia's gastronomy and wines.
From August 30 to September 10, around 50 exhibitors from restaurants, wineries and other food companies will offer, from 20.30 to 00.30 hours, their products that, moreover, will be drawn among the attendees every night, at 23.15.
The price of trays remains the same as last year being 11 euros and allowing the consumption of 3 wines to choose, 3 tapas, a beer, a wild card, 3 free tastings of the gastronomic workshops, a participation in the draws, a scratch and a gift glass.
This year, new companies will participate, such as Bodegas Grupo 6, Arloren Wineries, Yavino Club, Via Torino Pizzeria Restaurant, Vega Alta Distillery, Los Quijales Sausages and Torre Lucas supermarkets.
The poster of this edition has been prepared by Laura López León who won the contest held at the School of Art and who has made a sign with a sense of wine in sight, smell and taste.
In addition, the Gourmet of honor has fallen to Antonio Caravaca de Bodegas Juan Gil.
Given the success of last year, the Federation of Las Peñas de Jumilla will once again make the tread of the grapes and will be able to taste the must of the tread on the second Sunday of Feria and Murcia Day with the participation of two folklore groups, one from Jumilla and another from Murcia.
The Councilor for Economic Promotion, Culture and European Programs, Jesús Pacheco, stressed that "the aim of this event is to delight wine and gastronomy enthusiasts and its enormous success year after year shows that it is one of the most outstanding activities of the Fair of Murcia ".
