The Department of Social Rights has subsidized more than 7,000 euros to the Museke Association in order to develop a project to improve the living conditions of Nemba, in the northern province of Rwanda.
Thus, work is being done on the construction or rehabilitation of homes for families without resources, in the construction of latrines for 50 families, in the delivery of mattresses, mattresses, stoves and sinks for 152 families and in the development of awareness workshops on the drug and alcohol consumption, personal hygiene and gender, violence and help to women.
The total number of people benefited is 525.
The Museke Association was born in Spain in 2010, the impulse of a group of people with a deep contact and knowledge of the African continent through different trips.
Initially, a small dining room was founded with 20 children and currently there are 220, in addition to other projects to strengthen education, scholarship programs and improvement of the health conditions of families.
