The City of Murcia stops collecting 329,000 euros in concept of surplus value and consequent fine for having made late payments to the company El Tiro, and the PSOE will ask the Councilor for Finance, Contracting and Urban Mobility, Eduardo Martínez Oliva, the report corresponding, at the time that claims that the relevant explanations are given "before the seriousness of the matter".
This is what Councilman Sebastián Peñaranda has said after knowing that the Contentious Chamber of the Superior Court of Justice (TSJ) of the Region of Murcia has estimated the appeal presented by the company El Tiro and has annulled the liquidation of the surplus value that was Turned by the City Council, amounting to 236,600 euros, and the fine that was imposed, which amounted to 93,000 euros.
The ruling indicates that both agreements are not in accordance with the law, so it must be declared null and void.
The Chamber, in assessing the appeal, overturns the ruling issued by the Court of Contentious Number One of Murcia, which declared the municipal agreements and dismissed the claim filed by the aforementioned company against the Consistory because the facts had prescribed.
"Previously from the Socialist Group we showed similar situations that suppose a reduction for the municipal coffers, in this case due to the laziness and the administrative chaos, a great amount of money is left with which the City Council could have committed, for example, the social IBI so that families without resources could have relief in the payment of this tax ", explained Peñaranda.
"It is surprising, if not alarming, that while workers and pensioners have been seized their accounts for not addressing municipal taxes is allowed by that mismanagement that a company stop paying more than 300,000 euros for not having met the PP at City Hall with its obligation to collect ", has affected.
