The spokesman of Citizens, Mario Go'mez, has returned to demand to the Government of Ballesta that gives explanations on the irregular use of vehicles and personnel of the service of road cleaning of the City council of Murcia in a private enclosure.
Gómez recalled that on July 9 they warned the local government about this irregular situation without having received a response.
"We are still waiting for the PP to open a file to debug possible irregularities, determine who is responsible and apply the appropriate sanctions, as well as corrective and preventive measures so that facts like these do not happen again in this or other contracts" .
Likewise, the spokesman of the orange training has requested the opening of an investigation on the execution of the contract to determine "if it is an isolated irregularity or a habitual action that the concessionaire performs to obtain an improper enrichment with public means".
"The municipal services, Gómez has defended, are to cover the needs of the neighbors and guarantee the basic services that they pay with their taxes and not for this company to carry out private jobs or commissions"
"And the only way to guarantee that the concessionaires comply with their work is by following up on the contractual conditions," the Cs spokesperson insisted.
In this regard, he stated that "in Citizens we will not allow the concessionaires to use the means for an improper use or enrichment.
For this, he stressed "it is essential that the local government ensures that public contracts are made in the most transparent, at the lowest cost and with the best guarantee."
Finally, the orange training will propose regular meetings with the responsible technicians, union representatives of the concessionaire companies, their managers and the different political groups to carry out a correct follow-up of the contracts.
