Our rescue and lifesaving guys from the Ciudad de Murcia Swimming Club Jorge Sato and Lorena Morón López have been proclaimed Spain's Absolute Category Champions in the XXX Spanish Lifesaving Championship held this past weekend at the beach of Ris, Noja, in Cantabria.

Our athletes Jorge Sato and Lorena Morón have achieved the title of Absolute Spanish Champions in the flag race.

It was quite a show that our guys offered, their effort, work and courage were rewarded, apart from the Gold, by the applause and the delivery of the audience.

But not happy with his gold medal, Jorge Sato also got the bronze medal in the sprint test and Lorena, got the fifth place in this same test.

The beauty and hardness of this sport is directly proportional to the sacrifice and delivery of the athletes who practice it, so we are doubly satisfied not by the medals, which are fair, but because both Jorge and Lorena, are two of our best athletes and that, together with the rest, make us continue to love the Lifesaving and Lifeguard Sports and that's why from the Ciudad de Murcia Swimming Club, we are determined to support and promote this sport more.
