Pablo Blesa, vice rector of International Relations, and Gonzalo Wandosell, dean of the Faculty of Legal and Business Sciences, have represented the UCAM in the XXVI Congress of the International Federation of Catholic Universities (FIUC).
The meeting, which is the largest network of Catholic universities worldwide, takes place every three years, and this time it was held at Maynooth College, in Bublin (Ireland).
Pablo Blesa, who has valued it as "a very enriching experience", explained that in the course of the same the UCAM announced its proposal to celebrate the I Olympics of Catholic Universities, "an initiative of the president of the UCAM, José Luis Mendoza, which was very well received. "
The meeting served for the participants to propose new agreements and conventions, and to lay the foundations for future joint projects.
New IFCU president was appointed Isabel María de Oliveira Gil, rector of the Portuguese Catholic University, and the impact of robotics or new technologies on training processes was analyzed.
