40% of taxis will provide minimum services in the municipality, after professionals from Murcia join the indefinite strike initiated in other Spanish cities to claim the limitation of vehicle rental licenses with driver.
After the meeting held this morning by the Councilor for Finance, Contracting and Urban Mobility, Eduardo Martínez-Oliva, with the representatives of the sector -the Radio Taxi and Union Taxi associations-, the minimum services will be 40% of the vehicles, according to the established shifts, both morning and afternoon.
According to reports to the City Council, the taxi drivers carry out an indefinite strike starting today, at 12 noon, 'with free minimum services within the urban area for the elderly, children and people with reduced mobility'.
