The procedure initiated by the City Council a year ago to provide a solution to the workers of the previous home-help service concessionaire, who owed them several payrolls before incurring in suspension of payments, has finally served to unblock the situation.
The procedure consisted in retaining the payment of the invoices that remained to be paid to the mercantile and using it to settle his debt with the template.
For this, and once the administrative and judicial problems have been settled, the Governing Board has been able to take the agreement to recognize said debt and proceed to pay the wages claimed, which amount to 783,652.29 euros, which will be charged to the invoices whose payment was retained by agreement dated May 26, 2017.
The payment will be made directly, by bank transfer, to the account designated by the workers.
