The City of Murcia, through the Department of Infrastructure, Public Works and Services directed by Rebeca Pérez, collaborates in the 3rd edition of the Murcia CDS competition.
It will take place on Friday and this time it is presented as a national championship, in which more than 400 dancers will participate.
It will start at 9:00 pm at the Sangonera La Verde fairgrounds.
And it will be more than 3 hours of urban dance, in which young people from Valencia, Málaga, Murcia, Cádiz, Alicante, Almería and Palma de Mallorca will participate, among others.
Admission is free and more than 5,000 attendees are expected.
"It is one of the biggest urban dance championships, a unique opportunity for our young people of the municipality, since they have the opportunity to meet great professionals in this discipline and to know firsthand the work that is being done in other communities. way to share, relate, learn and continue to form, we want our young people to have an enthusiasm for what they do and opportunities "commented Rebeca Pérez.
The judges of the championship are Espe Bastida, an expert in the Wacking discipline;
Luis Cabeza, expert in Hip-Hop and Lady Cun Faya, recognized worldwide in the DanceHall discipline.
The championship will distribute more than 2,500 euros in prizes.
In absolute pairs, the first prize is 100 euros, the second 50 euros and the third, a trophy.
In junior pairs, the first three winners will get a trophy.
In junior group, the first prize is 500 euros, the second 200 euros and the third 100 euros.
And in absolute groups, the first prize is 1,000 euros, the second 500 euros and the third 200 euros.
