Professors Verónica de Haro, Lourdes Martínez and Susana Torrado received last Friday the prize 'Educating in participation' granted by the Murcian Federation of Student Associations, Femae, in celebration of its 25th anniversary.
Femae wanted to recognize the work that the three professors of the Faculty of Communication and Documentation of the University of Murcia developed last April to coordinate the participation of students of the Faculty in the Combined Joint Exercise Region of Murcia 2018 developed by the Military Emergency Unit in Murcia last April.
The students worked as the media do, going to the points of conflict and producing newspapers and daily news.
Its work served so that the professionals of Emergencies also worked with the tension of having to give information at the time that they carry out their work.
The award ceremony to the teachers took place on Friday at the Moneo building of the City of Murcia as part of the Femae anniversary events.
The rector, José Luján, and the Vice-rector of Quality, Culture and Communication, Javier Martínez, attended the event.
