The Councilor for Citizens Carlos Peñafiel proposed in the plenary of Thursday a motion for the implementation of a Plan of Succession and Generational Relief of self-employed, so that those who are close to retirement can give the witness to new entrepreneurs ;
and that said Plan contemplates measures to alleviate bureaucratic obstacles and tax burdens in the transmission of the business.
Many of these small businesses - Peñafiel explained - will be forced to close at the moment in which they can not be transferred or there is no generational change of the autonomous business manager due to retirement, illness or unforeseen circumstances of any kind, causing the neighborhoods lose part of their idiosyncrasy and their hallmark.
Likewise, the mayor of the orange training will urge the government team to create a public registry in which business can be registered without business succession to seek a replacement in property and / or in the management of said business.
"Our City Council, as the closest administration, should be able to provide solutions to these demands, allowing entrepreneurs access to this type of business and local businesses already consolidated," he concluded.
